Cessna 172 Skyhawk: "Wings for Doubting Thomas" circa 1960 Cessna Aircraft Marketing Film

"Watching the 50 year old Cessna promotional video was a bittersweet experience.  Back then, a C-172 was within reach of a much greater percentage of the population than it is now.  Times have changed, and not for the better."

We have heard many stories of someone retiring and building that experimental they have always dreamed of crafting with their own 2 hands. Or the teams of volunteers who spend years helping a museum or nonprofit restore an old bird back to their former glory.Share with us the aspirations you have to restore or build an aircraft. Be it on your own or with a team of volunteers. Be it an experimental, vintage or anything in between.See More

Having trouble figuring out how to post/respond. This was not a back country trip...fly to Browning, MT. Blackfoot guide picked up and we fished five lakes on the Reservation. This lady came to play on the 5th day...catch and release....along with almost all of the catches. Her replica will be hung here in the office. We'll see if this one posts....I'm not feeling too positive on that!
