I owned a 1947 model 415D that looked like this except the N # was on the tail instead of the wing.
I flew it all through the 80's and 90's and sold it in 2000. I had no idea that I would miss it as bad as I do.
On the positive side though the current owner did a complete restoration on it and keeps it hangered all the time that it is not flying.
