Dave Quam, along with Bob Murray, founded the Seaplane Pilots Association in 1972 at the "Little Ferry Seaplane Base", in NJ..
Later the Assn. moved to the Washington DC area to be administered
by AOPA for about 5 years. After that, the Assn. moved to Florida.
