I had my annual completed on 1 oct 2011. My Cessna 150 has been flown 60 hours since then. Love being in the air.

It all depends on the $100.00 proposed fee by Barry and the other overpaid underworked idiots in D.C. I've been involved in Aviation for more than 30 years but this may be the straw that broke the camels back. Thank you Barry, Shelly the FAA et al.

Yes, Virginia and I are planning to fly throughout US this year, 2012. But, not if we are charged $100 user fees.

As soon as it warms up a little, we will be back out there. Just fininshed with a major rebuild of the engine, interior, wheels, brakes, instruments, radio, and speaker in the 172. Now if we don't get hit with landing fees and $5 plus gas we will be able to get out more this season. Good thing there are a few good places to meet and eat within 40 to 80 miles. We have a fun group that like to go, but everyone is in the same boat with the price of things today.
