Steak feed, Huckleberry pancake breakfast and airshow. If you have never been here before you owe it to yourself and your family to join us. We are not the big city all day airshow, but we have a lot of other worthwhile things going on. Friday night features a traditional steak feed that has been going on for over sixty years, put on by the Durkee Grange from beautiful downtown Durkee Oregon and is being brought to town to the airshow. Saturday morning starts out with a fresh picked huckleberry pancake breakfast,Bagpipes & Drums music and demonstration by the Eastern Oregon Celtic Society. Then into "Just In Time" skydivers from California and the airshow. The Best Western Sunnridge Inn has blocked some rooms for the event. Baker City, Oregon airport, located in the northeastern section of the state. BKE has three active runways, the longest is 5,059 feet, capable of supporting all aircraft including most modern business jets. The airport is located in a level valley at 3,369 feet with mountain ranges in the distance. The approaches are easy and the scenery is beautiful.
